in a forest, bushes in your backyard, all thrive NOT because

it rains every few months, but because underneath the

surface of the ground is a massive network of living biology,

microbial life, bugs, worms, mycorrhizae that are producing

the exact amount of nutrients the plant needs. We don't

add synthetic nutrients and push plants as hard as we can
