Surface Work Hand Pipe

Surfacework Hand Pipes are created by melting colored glass strands onto the surface of a glass pipe. This technique can be used to create a variety of patterns and designs on the glass, such as scalloped effects or streaks of color throughout the piece. These pipes are small enough to fit in your hand and have a carburetor, which is a hole on the side of the pipe near the bowl. The “carb” allows fresh air to mix with the smoke in the chamber, resulting in smoother hits, better taste and less coughing.
